Gifts for Your Attendants

When it's all said and done, what's the perfect way to say thank you to your bridal party members? With a great gift of course!
You've gathered together some of the most important women in your life. They might be blood relations -- she’s a sister, a special cousin -- or perhaps you’ve just been through the fire together -- she’s a roommate from way back when, a college friend or a co-worker. Each for her own special reason has won a place in your heart for life. Give her a bridesmaid gift she'll love with these simple suggestions:

A silver jewelry or keepsake box is a classic gift. These are available in a variety of styles, sizes and price ranges. You might consider having it engraved -- with her name, or with the date of the wedding, as a reminder of the special day she "stood up" for you. It’s a traditional gift that is personal and likely to be used (and appreciated!) often.
Makeup accessories are always a hit with bridesmaids; these elegant makeup brushes are indulgent and luxurious and are a fabulous gift that will make each and every bridesmaid feel like royalty.
Consider giving something that’s both tasteful and elegant. An illusion candle may be the ideal choice for bridesmaids.
A classic pen is a terrific gift for your attendants (you might consider this option for both female and male attendants).
Many brides opt to give matching earrings or a bracelet or necklace to their attendants for them to wear during the wedding, to complete their matching attire. This option again offers you a wide choice for both style and cost.
Show some style with an elegant wine set. A classy gift for your most sophisticated friends.
Some brides offer to absorb the cost of the bridesmaids gowns to show their gratitude; this is a particularly appreciated gesture if the gown youve selected for your attendants to wear is costly.
These are just a few of the possibilities. Consider the things you and your attendants enjoy sharing together and let that point you to a gift that will be appreciated and will uniquely remind them of you. Some brides choose to present the gifts on the wedding day, others will present them at the Bridesmaids Luncheon. Be creative in your gift giving. Find something that reflects the way you feel about your friends. They are part of your life now, and will be for years to come. Show them how much you cherish them.
